I'm in the process of making some major changes to the site. New layouts and adding a lot of content. Will be working on adding a store section where I can sell some photography.

I'm going to be updating this site to complete all the information I wanted to share before I start working on my Coast to Coast bicycle page. Over the next few weeks I will be adding the rest of my pictures from my journey, uploading scans of my journal, and transcribing the rest of my journal entries into trailjournals.com.

Also, I will be adding a gear section here where I will provide as much information as possible about the gear I took on my hike.

Any suggestions on anything that is missing just let me know.

We have made a new site about Dan's Banana Fund. We also have updated Daniel's Trail Journal to today. We will be updating more tonight and tommorow, but for now please enjoy Dan's photos and Journal entries.

Dan must have been excited to get home because he made it all the way to PenMar today. We picked him up tonight and he is tired! 30+ miles in a day will do that to you. We have pictures up to and including today online and journal entries will follow. Dan will be posting more tommorow and will probably see most of you sometime this week.

Way too long since the last update. I now have journal entries online up to and including April 27, 2006 (with a small gap of entries that we have not received yet. They are online in pdf format. We are working on getting them all typed in so that we can post them on trailjournals.com but as there are close to twenty of them it will take some time. We also have tons of pictures to put up, including pictures from out trip to virginia to see Dan. And of course the biggest news of all. For those who don't know Dan will be home on Wednesday of this week to visit until the weekend. We have planned a ton of stuff for him to do to prepare for the rest of his hike, also he will be visiting two local schools and EMS before he heads back to the trail. I will write again once I have all the pictures up.

I still have to type the journal entries into text files and put them on trailjournals.com. I hope to have this done by the end of the weekend. Anyone intrested in helping with this let me know.
I am still looking for a mailing list set up so that I can update people more easily.

I have added a new page to the website. The Links page has any references to Dan that I find on other journal entries. I have also gotten all of the journal entries typed and uploaded. Phew there was a lot to type. Two weeks of journal entries all at once. I have also added the Hi Resolution Scans of the Journal Entries as link to the bottom of the Journal Entries Page. They are extremely large (1.5 Megs per page) but if anyone needs to see them for some reason they are there.
